Motiq Privacy Policy

Effective July 15, 2026

Motiq is an audio-monitoring app for driving instruction. We designed it to work without accounts, advertising, analytics, or remote servers.

Audio and microphone access

Motiq uses microphone permission to receive audio from a connected Bluetooth headset and play it through the iPhone. Audio is processed live on the device. Motiq does not record, store, upload, or share audio.

Data collection

Motiq does not collect personal data. The app stores only preferences, such as the selected microphone boost level, locally on the device.

Third parties

Motiq contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. Apple may process diagnostic and TestFlight information under Apple’s own privacy policy when you install a beta through TestFlight.

Retention and deletion

Because Motiq does not collect or transmit personal data, there is no server-side user data to retain or delete. Local preferences are removed when the app is deleted.

Children

Motiq does not knowingly collect information from children or any other users.

Changes

If Motiq’s data practices change, this policy will be updated before the relevant app version is distributed.
